St. Cloud Area School District 742 To Cancel School As Snow Blows In

As Minnesota gets hit by a blizzard, one local school district is shutting down school on Thursday.

District 742 Superintendent Willie Jett says all district schools are closing due to inclement weather. Due to the cancellation, student activities, community education activities, practices, and kid’s connections are all cancelled as well.

The entire state is getting hit with snowfall, with St. Cloud State’s Bob Weisman predicting 8-16 inches of snowfall to hit the St. Cloud Area.

The Sauk Rapids-Rice and Sartell-St. Stephen school districts will also be shutting down all activities. .
