St. Cloud Assistant Police Chief Jeffery Oxton says the extreme cold can make road conditions unpredictable, including very slippery intersections and overpasses. City sanding trucks have been out all morning trying to keep up with the freezing roads.

If you have to drive, be very cautious making turns and give yourself plenty of breaking room when following other cars.
