Recent cold conditions and areas of blowing snow across central Minnesota roads have recently produced icy conditions causing multiple accidents.

St. Cloud State Meteorologist Bob Weisman is reminding travelers that the icy spots could remain a problem. Black ice is possible due to the dangerously cold temperatures that prevent salt from working properly.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke is also warning drivers of the slick road conditions and asking everybody to drive with caution.
