St. Cloud will be hosting its ninth Pride Weekend starting on Friday.

The St. Cloud Downtown Council says that there will be several family-friendly events during the weekend.

The first event will be a burlesque show by the Vendetta Vixens and Nakita’s Kittens on Friday night at the Red Carpet in downtown St. Cloud. Features of the show will include modern dance, acrobatics, and comedy. The show will begin at 10 p.m. and the cost of the event is $10 plus a $1.49 fee.

Saturday will kick off with Pride in the Park, which will provide games, booths, food vendors, music, and more. This will take place at Lake George from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Coming up later on Saturday will be the St. Cloud Pride Drag Show at the River’s Edge Convention Center. The show will feature comedy by Bonnie the Barfly and there will be six performers. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with general admission beginning at 7 p.m. 

No events have been announced for Sunday.

Over 50 businesses will be supporting Pride Weekend.
