A local veteran and their family will be getting a new home this month thanks to Habitat for Humanity.

Executive director Rev. Richard Nelson says they are inviting the whole community to come to next week’s ground breaking ceremony. Nelson says this house is special to him because it is providing affordable housing to those who have served our country through the military. Sponsors for the build include MidCounty Bank, Jacobs Financial, network manufacturing, and local EMS.

The ground breaking will take place on Monday, September 17^th starting at Noon. Food, beverages and greetings from local veterans and sponsor representatives will also at the ground breaking.
