Just like several other things closed due to extreme weather, jail visitation has been cancelled for Wednesday.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says inmates at the Stearns County Jail have received news of the cancellation via kiosk.

Cold air continues to blister the area as air temperatures could fall to 30 below on Wednesday night, with wind chill values once again approaching 50 below.

The sheriff’s office apologizes for any inconveniences the cancellation might have caused.
