Archived: Swim and Dive team Finds Success

Last weekend the Swim and Dive team participated in the Carlton Invite in Northfild, MN. The men’s team won 12 of the 16 events they participated in while the women’s squad won eight of 16. St. Cloud State swimmers set four pool records during the meet. Sophomore Kellyn Craig set the record for the 200 breaststroke she also took first place in the 400 yard IM and the 100 yard breaststroke. Craig’s stellar performance earned her the honor of NSIC swimmer of the week, she was also named the Wolters Kluwer Finacial Serives Athlete of the Month. St. Cloud State diver, Tori Raihle, also earned NSIC honors as the NSIC Diver of the week. Raihle won the one-meter dive with a score of 411 and qualified for the national meet. The Swim and Dive team will be in action again next weekend in Green Bay taking on the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
