ST. CLOUD, Minn. – In their final home game of the 2026 regular season, the St. Cloud Tech Tigers football team fell 42-21 to Princeton on Wednesday.

St. Cloud Tech started strong, forcing a fumble before quarterback Andrew Brown connected with Everett Stine for a touchdown to give the Tigers an early lead.

Princeton answered with a quarterback sneak by Drew Julson for a touchdown to open the second quarter, tying the game at 7-7.

Tech quickly regained the lead as Brown found Jayce Ramsey for a touchdown. Princeton responded again, this time with a rushing touchdown by Colton Johnson. However, Princeton missed the extra point, allowing Tech to maintain a 14-13 lead.

Princeton took its first lead of the game after capitalizing on an interception and scoring on a rushing touchdown. A successful two-point conversion gave Princeton the 21-14 advantage.

Princeton opened the second half with another touchdown, as Julson connected with Joshua Christopher to extend the lead to two scores.

Tech cut the deficit to seven when Malachi Jensen scored on a rushing touchdown, but Princeton continued to pull away. Johnson added his second rushing touchdown of the game to make it 35-21 in the fourth quarter.

Princeton put the game away after the two-minute warning when Julson threw a touchdown pass to Isaac Nelson, extending the lead to 42-21.

Tech falls to 2-5 on the season with the loss. The Tigers will look to snap their losing streak next week, traveling to Fergus Falls to face the Otters.
