Early Sunday morning a driver noticed a vehicle in the ditch, just off Merlin Road in Spring Hill Township.

Just after 2:30 a.m. the motorist noticed the vehicle was rolled-over on its roof and the three people trapped inside were screaming for help.

According to Stearns County Sheriff, John Sanner, 19-year-old Desiree Ruprecht of Cold Spring, 20-year-old Lindsay Spanier of Sartell and 21-year-old Trevor Spanier were rescued from their vehicle after it crashed and came to rest in the ditch on the vehicle’s roof.

All three people inside the vehicle were taken to the Melrose Hospital. One of them was later airlifted to the St. Cloud Hospital after arriving.

No more information is available at this time. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
