A cat that showed multiple symptoms of rabies that was captured near the St. Cloud Technical College did not have rabies.  

According to the St. Cloud Animal Control Division, the cat was part of a larger untamed group of around ten cats and kittens.

The trapping of the remaining cats has begun.  

The Health and Inspections Department of St. Cloud reminds pet owners to keep rabies vaccinations current for their pets. Children should be taught never to touch or hold any unfamiliar animals.
