The preseason rankings are in for NSIC volleyball and it’s no surprise that the Concordia-St. Paul Golden Bears are at the top. The defending national champions received 13 of 14 first place votes and 165 total points.
     St. Cloud State’s volleyball squad is ranked 9th in the conference, receiving 65 total points. Coach Patricia Gerchy’s squad went 7-21 in the 2008 campaign, including a 5-15 conference record. The Huskies will open their 2009 season August 28th and 29th in Marquette, Michigan for the Northern Michigan Tournament.
