Archived: Wind Chill And Low Temperatures To Hit St. Cloud This Weekend
St. Cloud residents should prepare for Arctic air as the wind chills expect to dip over the weekend.
St. Cloud State meteorology professor Bob Weisman says Saturday morning could see negative temperatures as low as -10 degrees. However, winds reaching 5-15 miles per hour will make the air feel even chillier, with wind chills expected to fall in the -30 to -15 range.
The extreme cold and high air pressure make it unsafe to be outside for a long period of time. Those with joint issues or sensitivity to cold should plan for less time outdoors.
