Women’s Hockey Adds Talent

The St. Cloud State Women’s Hockey team keeps it rolling with the good news this week.

Head coach Steve Macdonald announced the signing of two international skaters for the 2019-2020 season to fill open spots left from transfers.

Annika Fazokas is a 5-foot-5-inch defender from Austria. She has 21 goals, 36 assists for 57 points over the past three years for DEC Salzburg Eagles. She has extensive international experience playing for Austrian national team from 2012 to 2019.

Taylor Lind is a 5-foot-7-inch forward from Canada. She has been a scoring machine for the Swift Current Wildcats these past three years with 93 goals and 77 assists for 170 points in only 83 games. That is good for 2.04 points per game and should be a key offensive piece to what this team has been missing.

They join a recruit class that already has Olivia Cvar, Courtney Hall, Claire Hickey, and Klara Hymlarova.
