The St. Cloud State women’s basketball team started off the season with a win on Wednesday night. SCSU won on the road against Valley State University 70-45. The Huskies had 17 turnovers and forced the Vikings into 28. Sam Price, Rachael Moen and Jessica Benson each had double digit points for SCSU. Benson lead the team in points with 17, she also led in rebounds and steals.

The team is back in action again on Saturday afternoon for their home opener. The Huskies will take on Jamestown College at Halenbeck Hall at 2 p.m.
