2010 will go down in the books as the fourth warmest spring in St. Cloud history. St. Cloud State Meteorology Professor Bob Weisman says the average temperature from March 1 thru May 31 was 48.6 degrees. That’s 5.5 degrees warmer than average. For two days in May, St. Cloud experienced back-to-back mornings when the low temperature was above 70 degrees. Weisman says this has only happened three times in St. Cloud’s history during the month of May. Also this spring, the high reached at least 80 degrees on eight separate days. The peak of 94 degrees on May 24th was the hottest temperature St. Cloud has seen in nearly three years.
