The Northstar Corridor Development Authority has just announced a fare increase for the Northstar Link beginning January 3rd. The Northstar Link travels between St. Cloud and the Big Lake Station with a stop in Becker. On Fridays, a midday bus runs the full length of the corridor from St. Cloud to downtown Minneapolis. Ridership of the Link continues to grow as a 113% increase of people boarding the bus has been recorded in the last nine months compared to this time last year.
