28 people got in trouble with the police Saturday night during a special alcohol enforcement detail near St. Cloud State. Among the arrests and citations, 14 received minors, three were cited for noise violations, two for fleeing an officer, two for public urination and three people violated the city’s new social host ordinance, which holds a person criminally responsible for hosting a party where underage drinking takes place. Police say alcohol enforcement near SCSU will continue in order to discourage underage drinking and other alcohol offenses.
