St. Cloud Police have made an arrest concerning a domestic assault that occurred Tuesday evening.  Michael Stuart Thompson, a 54-year-old St. Cloud resident, allegedly forced his way into an apartment that his girlfriend was hiding in before assaulting and threatening to kill her.  Police arrested Thompson Wednesday night just before 9:30. He is being held in the Stearns County Jail on charges of 1st degree burglary, making terroristic threats and domestic assault.
