Archived: $6 Million Cut from SCSU’s Budget
State lawmakers passed a bill Monday that would cut about $6 million dollars from St. Cloud State’s budget. Last month, SCSU announced it will eliminate 26 majors, minors and pre-professional programs to help offset the projected $6 million dollar shortfall for fiscal year 2011 and expected $15 million shortfall for the 2012 fiscal year.
SCSU’s Strategic Planning Committee is hosting an informational session and discussion with Provost Devinder Malhotra Wednesday at noon in the Miller Center Auditorium. Anyone in the St. Cloud State campus community is invited to join the Provost in this discussion on the university’s future.
