An 80-year-old St. Cloud man was arrested Saturday night for allegedly driving drunk on a cancelled license. St. Cloud police received the complaint at around 6:00 pm. Officers arrived at a home located between the Eagles Club on Veteran’s Drive and the 800 block of 27th Street North. Police found the suspected drunk driver, 80-year-old Stephen Sersha of Saint Cloud in the driveway. Sersha performed a field sobriety test and was given a breathalyzer test that registered a .185 blood alcohol content. Officers learned that Sersha’s driving status was cancelled and he had a prior DWI arrest in 2004. Sersha was taken to the Saint Cloud Hospital for a blood test and was then taken to the Stearns County Jail where he was held for court on charges of 1st degree felony DWI and gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation.
