A Sauk Rapids man received severe cuts while eating at Jimmy John’s in St. Cloud. St. Cloud Police were informed of a medical emergency inside the sub shop at 14 5th Avenue South around 2:20 a.m. Friday.

A police investigation found a 23-year-old man has received severe cuts to his head and ear. The victim was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital to be treated for his injuries. Police say there were approximately 20 to 30 people inside the business at the time the victim was injured.

It is unknown if the victim was cut as a result of an assault or on accident. Anyone who witnessed the incident is encouraged to contact the police at 251-1200.
