St. Cloud State University is announcing the appointment of a new Human Resources Director. Dr. Holly Schoenherr has been appointed to the position effective February 1st. President Earl H. Potter III announced the appointment Tuesday morning.

Schoenherr is coming from Rice University, where she served as Director of Business Initiatives and Executive Director of the Office of the President. While at Rice University, she was responsible for leading strategic initiatives including a comprehensive review of policies and procedures.

She has also served as Special Assistant to the Provost and as the Chief Human Resources Officer for the Division of Academic Affairs at the University of South Florida. In addition to her higher education experience, Schoenherr has also held leadership positions in for-profit and non-profit organizations in Ohio, Minnesota and Florida.
