The Annandale Food Shelf is getting a new building to meet a growing demand for their services. The new building is expected to be completed by September of 2012. The Annandale Food Shelf is currently managed by a staff of unpaid volunteers.

With a large growth of families needing help, a new building is needed to provide for those families. The food shelf has received over $162,000 in donations for a new building, including a $150,000 donation from the Morgan Family Foundation.
