St. Cloud Police were called to the 1600 block of University Drive Southeast just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday for a domestic disturbance. A police investigation found 24-year-old Ashish Raj Joshi and 26-year-old Valyncia Lynn Manheimer assaulted each other.

Manheimer said that she was choked and punched by Joshi while Joshi said that Manheimer punched him and held a knife to his throat. Both individuals were arrested and taken to the Sherburne County Jail. Manheimer faces charges of felony second-degree assault and misdemeanor domestic assault. Joshi faces one charge of felony domestic assault by strangulation.
