Stearns County has selected a new director for its Community Corrections Division of the Human Services Department. Becky Bales Cramlet received the position last week and has been with the Community Corrections Division for 15 years. 

Cramlet started out with the Division as a Corrections Agent working with people on probation and supervised release. She was promoted in 2006 to the position of Correctional Programs supervisor, where she oversaw program areas including Drug Court and adult sex offenders. 

Cramlet said she is looking forward to the new position of Community Corrections Division Director to continue their work toward promoting positive change with offenders for a safe community.
