Stearns County is auctioning off 24 properties that have been forfeited by the owners for unpaid taxes. The auction is being held this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the Stearns County Service Center at 3301 County Road 138 in Waite Park, near fleet farm.

For the first time, Stearns County is putting QR, or “Quick Response”, codes on the "For Sale" signs at the forfeited properties. Anyone can scan the code with their mobile device and be linked to more information about each property.
