A St. Cloud resident was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a car Tuesday night. Police investigation found the driver, 17-year-old Tyler James Hrubetz, had been travelling southbound on 5th Avenue and 9th Street when he struck 21-year-old Elischeba Rebecca-Abo Balle in the crosswalk. Hrubetz was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk and unsafe tires.
