A 15-year-old boy is in custody after threatening his mother with a knife. St. Cloud Police were called to the home located on the 2200 block of County Road 136 just before 12:30 p.m. Monday. A police investigation found that the boy had allegedly threatened his 47-year-old mother with a pocket knife before causing damage in three areas of the home with the knife.

The boy was arrested for 2nd degree assault, domestic assault and an active Apprehension and Detention Order. He was taken to the Stearns County Jail where he will be held until an opening in a juvenile detention center can be found.
