St. Cloud Police along with the St. Cloud Fire Department and a Gold Cross Ambulance went to 8th Street North and 44th Avenue North to respond to a car crash. Police say 67-year-old Jackie Derrel Roland of Sauk Rapids was going East on 44th Avenue and attempted to continue East on 8th Street when he hit a car driven by 77-year-old Jean Marie Skumautz of Waite Park.

Roland’s vehicle was overturned in the crash. Both drivers were taken to the St. Cloud Hospital ER to be treated for their injuries. Roland was cited for failing to obey a traffic light.
