A local man has been found dead in his apartment from an apparent gunshot wound. Sauk Rapids Police were called to 107 3rd Avenue South to check on 43-year-old James Kelly Omara around 11 a.m. Tuesday after he failed to show up to work.

Police found the body of Omara who was last seen alive last Friday night. Police have probable cause to believe that Omara’s ex-wife, 38-year-old Angelina Mae Omara was involved and has been taken into custody in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
