Archived: Car Versus Truck At Intersection

St. Cloud officers responded to a crash between a car and a truck that left three people injured. The crash happened Wednesday morning at the intersection of 25th Avenue and 2nd Street South. When officers arrived the car was on fire.

Police say one of the drivers, 59-year-old Robert Lintgen of St. Cloud went through a red light and hit the car driven by 26-year-old Joshua Nolte of Pequot Lakes who was going east on 2nd Street South.

Both Nolte and his passenger, 21-year-old Brittany Furnahl were taken to the St. Cloud hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Lintgen refused treatment at the scene and was cited for running a red. Nolte was also cited for driving without proof of insurance.
