The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information on the people responsible for setting hay bales on fire on the road near Holding Township, Minn.

Stearns County deputies received a report at about 2 a.m. this morning of large round hay bales blocking the roadway on 155th Ave. south of County Road 17 in Holding Township.

Deputies arrived and removed the hay bales as well as some stalks of corn also covering the road. At about 4:30 a.m., the hay bales were on the roadway again, this time on fire. Holdingford Fire Department extinguished the fire.

At about 6:30 a.m. this morning, another report of a burning hay bale on St. Anna Drive. Albany Fire Department extinguished the fire. If you have information on this case, call the Stearns County Sherrif’s Office at 320-251-4240.
