As the process for re-drawing district lines in Minnesota begins, a group of community organizations are looking to get input from people on how they define their communities. Draw The Line Minnesota, a coalition of groups including the League of Women Voters, will be hosting a public hearing on the redistricting process Thursday, August 18 in the Bremer Room of the St. Cloud Public Library. The hearing runs from 7 to 9 p.m. and will feature an introduction to the work Draw The Line Minnesota is doing, the redistricting process as well as giving time for those in attendance to speak their minds. People are encouraged to attend regardless of their knowledge of the redistricting or political process.
