On Sunday, St. Cloud police officers were informed of an assault that occurred the day before in the 400 block of 6th Avenue South.

According to the report, an adult victim of St. Cloud indicated being struck by a wooden bat on Saturday at about 2:30 a.m. St. Cloud police took into custody 21-year-old Nicholas Paul Anderson of St. Cloud for 2nd Degree Assault.
