A farm accident occurred at 42716 CR 3 in Holding, Minn. just after 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.

27-year-old Glen Leander Traut of Rice, Minn. was underneath a large mower deck working on the blades when the mower fell off the jack, pinning his head underneath the deck. Traut was able to get his cell phone and call 9-1-1.

Traut was about to pass out when family members saw a Stearns County Sheriff’s squad car pull into the yard and run to check on him. The mower was pulled off his head and Holdingford Rescue treated him at the scene. Gold Cross Ambulance later took Traut to the St. Cloud Hospital.
