The St. Cloud Police Department, Fire Department and Gold Cross responded to an accident involving a bicyclist and a car just before 9 p.m. Wednesday. According to the police report, a 16-year-old boy of Aberdeen, South Dakota rode his bike out of an alleyway directly into the path of an incoming car.

The driver, 66-year-old Russell Francis Letson of St. Cloud was unable to avoid the accident. The bicyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital by Gold Cross.
