Earlier this week the Stearns County Parks Department has begun filling cracks on the Lake Wobegon Trail and will continue for about the next two weeks. Park staff is working on segments from Freeport to the Todd County Line, Albany to the Morrison County Line and Albany to Avon.

The trail is still open to the public but users may have to go around work crews. Projects planned for later this summer include severing tree roots pushing up on the trail surface.
