Archived: KVSC’s 32nd Annual Trivia Contest Attracts More Than 70 Teams
KVSC will be safe from villains this weekend, as superheroes from all over the universe are converging in the halls of Stewart for “Superheroes of Trivia.” It’s the 32nd annual signature event for the campus and community radio station based out of St. Cloud State University. 71 teams are registered for the 50-hour trivia marathon. With last minute registrants, the event has more teams than last year, according to KVSC Station Manager Jo McMullen. Five states are represented in this year’s trivia contest, including Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio, New York and Maryland.
From 5 p.m. Friday until 7 p.m. Sunday, “Superheroes of Trivia” can be heard live over the airwaves on 88.1 FM in Central Minnesota or online at www.kvsc.org. The event will also broadcast live on KMSU in Mankato, KSRQ in Thief River Falls and KUMD in Duluth. KVSC’s “Superheroes of Trivia,” is the second largest radio trivia contest in the Midwest.
