A shed is destroyed and several barns are damaged after a fire at the Paul Fielder pig farms in Ashley Township in rural Stearns County. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says the fire was caused by an explosion on the farms. Sauk Centre, Melrose and Villard Fire Departments, along with the Sauk Centre Ambulance and Stearns County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call. No people or livestock were injured but a storage shed was completely destroyed and several pig barns were damaged. The explosion is currently under investigation.
