Archived: Man Arrested After Fleeing On Snowmobile
A man was taken to Stearns County Jail Wednesday morning for fleeing from police in a snowmobile and allegedly riding drunk.
Stearns County sheriff’s deputies received a report of a possible drunk driver on a snowmobile around 12:30 AM this morning in St. Stephen. The driver, 25-year-old Joseph Kiley of Bowlus, refused to stop for deputies and eventually struck a fence, according to police. Bowlus’ snowmobile got stuck in the fence, and deputies used snowmobiles to locate the driver.
Bowlus was arrested for fleeing in a motor vehicle and dwi, pending test results according to police.
