On Tuesday police were called to a car accident at 9th Avenue and Northway drive just before 10 am. 73 year old Bernice Violet Custerman of Royalton was driving south on 9th Avenue and made a left on to 6th Avenue North. The police report says this is where she hit the car of 49 year old Karen Renae Johnson of Sartell who was going North on 9th Avenue. A passenger in Custerman’s car was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital by ambulance to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Police gave Custerman a citation for failure to yield the right away.
