On Sunday police investigated an assault shortly after 1:00 a.m in the five-hundred block of 7th Avenue South. Police say that three men, age 22 of St. Paul, age 22 of Maple Plain, and age 22 of Delano, were approached by four men at an unknown location as they left a party. Police say two of the men assaulted the three victims. The suspects were described as whitemen, one wearing a black hoodie and the other wearing a white thermal sweatshirt at the time of the incident. Two victims sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment. One victim was taken to the hospital for minor non life-threatening injuries.
