Archived: Volunteers Needed for Flood Relief

Volunteers are needed to take action in flood relief in Southern Minnesota on Friday.  The bus leaves at 5:30 a.m. from the Holiday Inn parking lot in St. Cloud and will arrive at its destination at 9 a.m., where volunteers will work until 3 p.m. The work needed to be done includes cleaning out the homes that were damaged by the recent flooding in Wabasha County. Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes, a long sleeved shirt, and long pants. Volunteers should also bring work gloves if possible. There will be a safety briefing and lunch provided on the trip.
