A Richmond, MN man is in Stearns County Jail after fleeing sheriff’s deputies Friday evening.  

According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s office, Kyle Weinmann was observed by deputies driving his motorcycle at a high rate of speed on County Road 41 south of Albany.  Weinmann failed to stop for the deputy and fled southbound through the town of Farming.

The deputy then lost sight of the vehicle and discontinued the chase.  The deputy was able to gather enough information to find that the driver of the motorcycle was Weinmann.  

The deputy was able to locate the motorcycle, and the suspect, at Weinmann’s residence. Weinmann admitted to fleeing the officer, and his 2001 Honda CBR 600 motorcycle was seized for possible forfeiture.
