Volunteer-based organizations in central Minnesota are hoping to engage 5,000 or more volunteers this weekend in meaningful volunteer projects. It’s the first ever Give it Get it Volunteer Days. The goal of the weekend-long event is to get as many people possible to come out and make a significant difference in the community. Volunteers can choose from a list of volunteer projects that benefit businesses, churches, schools, service clubs, and families throughout central Minnesota.
