Archived: Sauk Centre Man Arrested for Alleged Robbery at Knifepoint

Two people were robbed in Sauk Centre Township on Sunday afternoon. According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, the two victims were parked on a gravel road south of Sauk Centre when a van pulled up next to their car. Officials say a man then got out of the van and broke into the victim’s car Then, the sheriff’s department says, the man held a knife to one of the victim’s throat, demanded money, and ordered both of the victims to kneel on the ground. The suspect got away when one of the victims called 911. The suspect was later identified as 26-year-old Dylan John Lambertson of Sauk Centre. He was taken to the Stearns County Jail, where he faces robbery and assault charges.
