A driver is dead after a crash north of Clear Lake, just south of the Benton-Sherburne County line. It happened in rural Sherburne County on Highway 25, south of 7th Street Southeast. The State Patrol says the driver, who was in a minivan, was going south on Highway 25 when the van crossed over the center line and hit a truck coming from the other direction. The truck, driven by a 37-year-old Onamia man, rolled on its side. Officials say the driver of the van died at the scene. The driver of the truck received minor injuries and refused to be taken to the hospital. The name of the person who died has not yet been released.
