Archived: Mahnomen Woman Arrested For Shoplifting
A 19-year-old Mahnomen woman was taken into custody Monday after allegedly shoplifting over twelve-hundred dollars worth of property from JC Penney. Kathleen Mattraca Beaupre was charged with felony theft.
Beaupre was also charged with fifth degree assault after it was discovered that she allegedly struck a loss prevention worker in the face while attempting to flee. Loss prevention workers stated there was an additional suspect, but that they had fled the scene. Police have not been able to locate that second suspect.
