St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis is proclaiming Tuesday, August 3rd “National Night Out” in St. Cloud. That night, St. Cloud will be one of nearly 15,000 communities in the nation that will ask its residents to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening with neighbors and police. The 27th Annual National Night Out will go from 6:00 until 10:00pm. The goal is to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit, and send a message to criminals that crime and drug-related activity will not be tolerated in the community.
