Archived: Sartell Man Arrested for Assault, False Imprisonment
St. Cloud Police arrested 22-year-old Jordan Charles Mulcahy of Sartell on felony charges of second degree assault and false imprisonment on Wednesday. The arrest was related to an incident that happened over the weekend in St. Cloud.
On Monday afternoon, St. Cloud Police officers went to a residence on Clearwater Road for a burglary complaint. According to police, Jordan Mulcahy entered the home sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning. While inside the home, Mulcahy damaged and stole various pieces of property. Also during the incident, Mulcahy allegedly threatened an 18-year-old Becker woman using a black semi-automatic handgun.
The woman was forced to assist the suspect in removing property from the home, and was only allowed to leave after placing the property in front of a home located on 9th Avenue South. Police located Mulcahy in downtown St. Cloud on Wednesday afternoon, where he was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail.
